Scarification

What is scarifying?
Scarifying is a mechanical raking of your lawn, it removes the dead thatch and moss from the grass allowing your lawn space to grow.

When should it be done?
Scarifying should be carried out usually between Autum and Spring time. It is advisable to carry out scarifying before fertiliser treatments.

Lawn Fertiliser Treatments
After the scarifying process, we strongly recommend using lawn fertiliser treatments. Weed and feed lawn food, moss killer and seeding if required.

Effective and regular scarification WILL improve the quality of your lawn.
